Fax number: 973-412-1914 The Office of Extended School Day Programs invites you to register your child(ren) in the 2010 Summer Youth Development Program (SYDP). The SYDP will provide an abundance of positive experiences for participants which include academic enrichment in language arts literacy and mathematics; trips and consultant presentations that provide cultural and academic support; as well as daily recreational activities; all in the interest of enhancing students’ academic, cultural, and social/emotional development. The SYDP will be in operation from July 6 through August 13, Monday – Friday, from 12:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The SYDP is available to Newark residents ages seven and up. Participants will receive a daily nutritious meal.
